Our story began in August of 2017, during our freshman year at UNCG. We both lived in the same residence hall, and at a meeting organized by our Residential Advisor, we were encouraged to get to know one another. Of course, Terrell, being the chatty extrovert, struck up conversations with just about everyone. Meanwhile, me, being a quiet introvert, I didn't have a lot to say.

Eventually, we hit it off after realizing we had similar taste in music. What started as a friendship quickly turned into Terrell walking me to class, many trips to Sam's Grill, and countless homework/study dates. It didn't take long before we became inseparable.

Fast forward seven years later: we decided to take a Friday off work and visit the WRAL Azalea Gardens. Of course, I got distracted by the flowers and had to stop to take a picture. When I turned around, Terrell caught me completely by surprise in the best way possible—by asking me to marry him!

Our journey from that first meeting to our engagement has been full of love, laughter, and countless memories. As we celebrate this special day, we are thrilled to share it with all of you.
